Do I need previous experience to enrol?

No. Many of our courses are suitable for complete beginners. We also offer advanced courses and masterclasses for experienced beauty professionals who want to upskill or add new treatments.

Are your courses accredited?

Yes. Where stated, our courses are fully accredited. This means you’ll receive a recognised certification upon successful completion.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. All students who successfully complete their course will receive a certificate. Accredited courses come with certification recognised by insurance providers.

Can I get insured after completing a course?

Yes. Completing one of our accredited courses allows you to obtain professional insurance so you can work with paying clients.

How long are the courses?

Course length depends on the treatment:

  • Others run over multiple days

What is included in the course?

Some courses also include starter kits, where stated.

Will I need to bring a model?

For practical courses, you may be required to bring a model. This will be clearly communicated before your course date. In some cases, models can be arranged by the academy.

How many students are in each class?

We keep class sizes small to ensure every student receives personal attention, support, and hands-on guidance.

Is business training included?

Yes. Many of our courses include business support such as pricing, client retention, social media advice, and how to confidently grow your beauty business.

What support is available after the course?

We offer ongoing support after your training. You’ll be able to contact your educator for guidance, advice, and questions as you begin working with clients. We also provide all of our students the option to join our support whatsapp group. For further information- please contact us and we can send you the link.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Flexible payment options are available on selected courses. Please check the course page or contact us directly for payment plan availability.

Where is the academy located?

Our academy is based within our salon, The Glam Lounge, in Derry/Londonderry. We offer a professional training environment with modern facilities.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Deposits are non-refundable. However, we understand that life happens — please contact us as early as possible if you need to reschedule and we’ll always do our best to accommodate you.
